Research
Statistical methods have come to play a pivotal role in bioinformatics.
My work focuses on statistical and bioinformatics method and software
development in molecular biology, especially in genetics and genomics.
My research interests are in the following areas:
Statistical and computational methods for molecular data analysis
  -

linkage mapping of complex traits in humans and experimental organisms

  -

joint analysis of genomic, proteomic and clinical data with biological metadata

  -

  sequence analysis

Comparative genetics and genomics
-

human and mouse linkage analysis of complex traits

  -

mammalian gene expression in Huntington's disease

Computer-intensive statistical methods
  -

  graphical exploration of high-dimensional data

  -

resampling methods in genomics and sequence analysis

  -

multiple imputation for missing genetic data

Integration of heterogeneous biological data types
-

adaptation of meta-analysis methods for high-dimensional data

  -

Bayesian methods for molecular data integration
