PhD. candidate in Oncology at Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk University (MU) , Brno, Czech Republic
Dissertation thesis topic: Biomathematical modelling of tumour genome profiling data. (in English)

In my thesis I focused my research onto development of methods for analysis of data from arrayCGH experiments and developed

In the second year of my doctoral studies, I absolved an intership in Statistics and Genome team at Applied Mathematics and Informatics Department of INA-PG in Paris, France, where I have participated on the development and implementation of a method for joint multipatient segmentation of arrayCGH data, under the supervision of Stephane Robin. This cooperation resulted in article

M.Sc. in Mathematical biologyat Faculty of Natural Science, Masaryk University (MU) , Brno, Czech Republic
Diploma thesis topic: Statistical approach to molecular cytogenetic analysis of genetic pathological states. (in Slovak)

The thesis was divised into two main parts:
  • Assesment of cut-off level percentage of Ph chromosome positive cells detected by ES-FISH in patients with expected CML, in a molecular cytogenetic laboratory.
  • Prediction modelling of microdeletion syndrome 22q11 according to phenotype manifestation using a logistic regression.
