Welcome to my home page
I am a member of the Chair of Statistics of Professor Anthony Davison in the Institut de mathématiques d’analyse et applications at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). I received my Ph.D. in statistics from the University of California at Berkeley, working on statistical problems in genetic linkage analysis under the direction of Professor Terry Speed.
Research Interests
My work focuses on statistical and bioinformatics methods in molecular biology, especially in genetics and genomics. My main interests are in statistical and computational methods for molecular data analysis and integration of heterogeneous biological and clinical data types.
I have co-organized a series of workshops on statistics in genomics, held at the Centro Stefano Franscini in Ascona, Switzerland. The theme of the next workshop is Statistical Genomics and Data Integration for Personalized Medicine, to be held 12-17 May 2013. Further details will be posted as soon as I know more.
I also carry out statistical and bioinformatics consulting for individuals and companies. Please feel free to contact me by email to discuss your needs.
